Child Safety Standards

The Platform is committed to protecting children and applies a zero-tolerance policy towards any form of their exploitation or abuse.

Article 1 — Our commitment

1.1 Khaima Platform (hereinafter "the Platform") is committed to protecting children and to keeping a safe environment for every user of its application, website and systems.

1.2 The Platform applies a zero-tolerance policy towards any form of child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE).

1.3 In these Standards, a child is any person under eighteen (18) years of age.

Article 2 — Prohibited content and conduct

The Platform strictly prohibits any content or conduct involving:

  • child sexual abuse material (CSAM);
  • sexual exploitation or abuse of children in any form;
  • grooming of children;
  • any content that sexualises or exploits minors;
  • any threat to a minor or any attempt at inappropriate contact with one.

Article 3 — Children on the Platform

3.1 Children's data is provided by their parent or legal guardian when registering the family.

3.2 Only persons aged eighteen (18) or over may hold an account in the application. Persons under eighteen appear only as members of their family.

3.3 Photographs showing children are published only with the explicit consent of the parent or legal guardian, which may be withdrawn at any time.

3.4 In every case, the best interests of the child prevail.

3.5 How children's data is processed is set out in the Privacy Policy — Families and Beneficiaries.

Article 4 — Content moderation

The Platform reviews reported content and removes immediately any content that breaches these Standards.

Article 5 — Action against violators

The Platform takes the following action against anyone who breaches these Standards:

  • permanent suspension of the account without prior warning;
  • immediate removal of the violating content from all of the Platform's systems;
  • reporting to the competent authorities and law-enforcement bodies where appropriate.

Article 6 — Reporting violations

6.1 Anyone may report violating content or conduct by e-mail or telephone, using the details at the bottom of this page.

6.2 All reports are reviewed seriously and as quickly as possible.

Article 7 — Compliance and cooperation with the authorities

The Platform complies with the laws and regulations in force on protecting children and preventing their sexual exploitation, and cooperates with the competent authorities and law-enforcement bodies where needed to keep children safe.
